After installing the IE add-on under WinXP, I get a Run-time error 9, "Subscript out of range." Suggestions?

There are two possible causes, both of which have been fixed in an updated version.

Both would cause the user to receive the following error upon starting the Search Bar 1.1 Internet Explorer Addon
Run-time error 9, "Subscript out of range."

Cause 1:
There are too many blank lines in the engines.dat file. There should only be one blank line immediately after the last search engine.

Cause 2:
There are no existing entries in the Windows Registry under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt.

FIX: To fix both of these bugs, uninstall the Search Bar 1.1 Internet Explorer Addon, download the new version from this website, and install it.
