Override Reuse Browser Window Setting
Do you prefer to have your searches open in new browser windows, but sometimes wish you could reuse an existing window for a single search? If so, this tip is for you!

Just type what you want to search for and select the search engine as usual. Then press the Shift key and press enter or click on Search. Search Bar Pro will attempt to reuse an existing browser window. If it can't, it will simply open a new window.

This tip also works if you have Search Bar Pro set to reuse existing browser windows . If you have this option enabled, holding the Shift key while pressing enter or clicking on the Search button will cause the search to open in a new browser window.

This tip requires that you use Internet Explorer 5.01 or higher.
