Why isn't Search Bar Pro totally free?
Search Bar Pro has a 30 day trial period. After the trial period has ended, some of the more advanced features will require you to register Search Bar Pro for a small fee.

There are a few reasons for this change. Unfortunately, the main reason is financial. It is expensive to run a website like this which can provide fast and reliable downloads. I have accepted donations to help cover the costs, and while I really appreciate those who have donated, it just doesn't come close to covering the costs of the website and other development costs.

So how did I decide which features won't be available after the trial period has ended? The first thing I wanted to do was make sure people had a good reason to upgrade from Search Bar 1.1 even if they have no intention of registering Search Bar Pro. I wanted to make sure that everything you can do in Search Bar 1.1 and the add-on, you can do in Search Bar Pro, as well as things I wish I had been able to put into Search Bar 1.1.
